Frankenthal, Hans
Born in Schmallenberg in the Sauerland region in 1926, forced labor, deportation to the Buna/Monowitz concentration camp in Auschwitz in 1943, death march, forced labor in the Mittelbau-Dora concentration camp, liberation in Theresienstadt, return to Schmallenberg, testified as a witness in the first Frankfurt Auschwitz Trial in 1964, involvement in the Auschwitz Committee in the Federal Republic of Germany and in the Central Council of Jews in Germany, died in 1999.
